KIDDIES XMAS PARTY
We will be holding a Christmas Party for the U-6 / U-7 teams at Stifford Clays Social Club on Friday 05th December 2008.

CLUBS XMAS PARTY
Looking for a good night out over Christmas then get your tickets early for the clubs Christmas Party. This well be held at Thurrock FC on Saturday 27th December 2008, doors open at 8pm and it will run till late.

Tickets are priced at £10 Adults and £5 for children, the price does include a buffett. Interested then contact me asap as there are limited tickets.

BREAKING NEWS.

F.A. YOUTH CUP
What a nail biting time we had last night at Stevenage, the game could have gone either way but you had to admire the spirit of the the Thurrock players as they came from behind twice to secure a 3 - 2 win.

It was a good performance on a very wet and difficult evening but this win now takes us into the second round proper for the first time in the history of the club.

NEXT ROUND
In the second round we have been drawn away to Brentford FC, this game will be played on Wednesday 19th November at Griffin Park and will be a 7-45pm kick off.

We will be running a coach to this game so anyone interested should contact me on the number below. The coach will be leaving at 4-30pm from THURROCK FC and each seat on the coach will cost £5-00. Ticket prices at the game will be £3-00 adults and £1-00 children / OAP.

I do hope that we can get as many people as possible to come along and show their support.

FIRST TEAM AND RESERVES SECTION.

FIRST TEAM
What a great game on Saturday against a strong Worcester City. With added confidence the team started to play like they had towards the end of last season, they took the lead from a well worked move and consolidated the opener with another goal in the second half. The team looked solid at the back and menacing going forward, it was a pleasure to watch and hopefully we can keep this form going.

Every youth player within the club has been given a "FREE" season ticket with the hope that we can generate a great atmosphere for the first team. Please drag your father along and give the first team your support as it would be great to see you all there.

Thurrock lost their unbeaten run at Clapton on Saturday. With a lot of players missing through various reasons it was decided to blood a lot of the younger U-18 squad to see how they could perform at the higher level.

This was a tough place to go for your first run out at this level and in ten minutes we were 2 - 0 down, the players battled back and got a goal back through Ben Absolom but Clapton sealed the game with a third goal in the second half.

This coming weekend the reserves do not have a game.
